“Potter Rap” Editor For Idol Top 10!
Fan of Moist Cupcake’s “Harry Potter Rap” (as featured on WizardRock.Org several times since its January 2007 debut)?
Blake Lewis, who had a hand in the music creation and editing in the Potter parody video, has been a contestant on American Idol sixth season, and is competing this week for a place in the competion’s Top 10!
Hey, I promised I’d keep you updated! For those of you who remember last week’s post, Blake did, in fact, make it into American Idol’s Top 12. This week, he’s competing for a spot in the Top 10!
YOU can help Blake make it through to next week, by voting! If you are a United States resident, please place a call (the number is toll-free; however, for wireless phones, standard roaming charges may apply) to 1-866-IDOLS-09 (1-866-436-5709) before 11:00 PM tonight (March 13th) in your time zone.
Again, the number to vote is:

Phone lines will be open for two hours per time zone, prior to the show’s airing (9:00 - 11:00 PM).
REMEMBER! Blake’s voting number will change on a weekly basis, based on where he is placed in the performance line-up in each week’s episode. This number is ONLY good for tonight, until 11:00 PM.
I will keep everyone posted on Blake’s voting numbers, for as long as he remains a contestant on the show. However, if you would like to see the singing/beatboxing sensation for yourself, be sure to tune in to American Idol Tuesday on FOX, at 8:00 PM (7:00 Central).
