On March 10, an article appeared in a local newspaper, The Canton Repository letting readers know about The Remus Lupins concert that was to take place on the next day. The article is quite amusing, as it gets most of its facts wrong. Did you know that, not only does “J.K. Rowling endorse The Remus Lupins and flies the band to concerts throughout the country.” For more hilarity the article can be found by clicking here.

The Remus Lupins (Alex Carpenter) performed for a small crowd of 25-30 people at the Jackson Township branch of the Stark County Library on March 11. Then we returned to a friend’s house to crash (after staying up past 3 in the morning of course). On the morning of March 12 as Alex and I checked the website to reread the above article, we discovered a new one. A picture of yours truly and a video of Alex’s performance accompany the article. Let me just point out that we were a little annoyed that the reporter left right before the last song, and didn’t interview either Alex, or the woman responsible for booking the show.
