About Bart
» Who is Bart and what does he do here?
Bart (also known as “Bartman” by many of his friends) has many addictions—computers, writing, Douglas Adams’ novels, and of course Harry Potter. He enjoys writing for himself whenever he has time, and hopes to one day publish a novel or collection of short stories. Bart’s love of Wizard Rock started when he discovered a CD at Mac’s Backs bookstore in Cleveland Heights by a band named Harry and the Potters. After seeing them perform live with Uncle Monsterface, Bart learned that an entire genre of bands like Harry and the Potters had formed, and he immediately became obsessed.
When he is not studying to be a librarian, Bart—a loyal Hufflepuff, but witty enough to be a Ravenclaw—writes bios for the bands mentioned on wizardrock.org
» What kind of Wizard Rock does Bart like?
Since Harry and the Potters was the first Wizard Rock band he ever heard, they will always be high on Bart’s favorites. He holds a great fondness however for the music of The Remus Lupins, Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls, The Hermione Crookshanks Experience, Roonil Wazlib, Draco and the Malfoys, Philosopherock, and the other Wizard Rock bands whose songs are organized sequentially on his iPod according to when they occur in the series.
» What does Bart listen to when not listening to Wizard Rock?
Bart’s favorite artists of all time are the Beatles and Weird Al Yankovic. The remainder of his CD and MP3 collection is very schizophrenic, including such muggle bands and artists as Bowling For Soup, Devo, Flogging Molly, The Barenaked Ladies, The White Stripes, The Glenngarry Bhoys, Arlo Guthrie, The Prodigals, Nickel Creek, Chittlin, and many others that definitely do not fit in this bio.
