About Nefret
» Who is Nefret and what does she do here?
Nefret is many things, one of which is a giant dork. She is obsessed with Harry Potter (who isn’t), watches professional wrestling, is in love with Pirates of the Carribean (Captain Jack is her husband, sorry ladies he’s taken), listens to NPR every Sunday, spends way too much time on MySpace and Facebook, is addicted to podcasts, and pretends to be a swimmer, nordic skier, and track person. But most importantly of all she is a proud member of the house of lion (but is loyal enough to be a Hufflepuff.
Nefret fell head over heels in love with Wizard Rock when Harry and the Potters and Draco and the Malfoys came to the Minneapolis public library (the most awesome library in the world). She also fell in love with Harry Potter year 4 when they were in town. She is also incredibly good at answering questions.
» What kind of Wizard Rock does Nefret like?
Harry and the Potters, they started all of this and started Nefret’s addiction to Wizard Rock. Draco and the Malfoys, their music is so mean, infantile, and just plain fun. Switchblade Kittens, lets face facts, they wrote the first Wizard Rock song (a song that helped her get through a somewhat difficult time in her life), and they are the Weird Sisters! The Remus Lupins, their songs have a great beat and are from various perspectives and Nefret thinks that Alex is completely gorgeous. Dumbledork, who doesn’t like techno? Hollow Godric, acustic music is awesome. Voldemort is great, Nefret loves all wizard metal. And there are countless others but there isn’t enough room to mention them all.
»What does Nefret listen to when not listening to Wizard Rock?
When not listening to various podcasts Nefret listens to Boy Hits Car the best band that is not still together. Killswitch Engage is a great band with even better lyrics, 12 Stone, Hoobastank, Apocalyptica, Disturbed, Evanescence, Fozzy, Godsmack, Linkin Park, Nickleback, Nine Inch Nails, Powerman 5000, Saliva, Sean Paul, Shakira, Sum 41, Trapt, The Who and many others.
And lets not forget the Spamalot soundtrack.
