The Moaning Myrtles’ songs are all written from the point of view of everyone’s favorite cranky bathroom ghost, Moaning Myrtle. They started writing songs in November of 2005 after attending a Harry and the Potters concert and falling in love with the idea.
Their music can best be described as piano rock. It’s a little jazzy but their songs are pretty varied. Nina plays piano, Lauren plays bass, and they both sing but let’s face facts: Myrtle is pretty emo.
