Potter and the Lightning Bolts
As read in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, dreams can often be prophetic, warning about events either dangerous or wonderful. For Andrew of Potter and the Lightning Bolts, his dream of a wizard rock band was wonderful. In 2004, after dreaming of a band in which Harry Potter was the lead singer, he and his friend Scott decided to start such a band. They learned however, that their idea had already been taken by Paul and Joe DeGeorge- Harry and the Potters.
For the next two years, Gryffindor Andrew continued to be a fan of Harry and the Potters, seeing them play at two shows in the Orem, Utah area. After hearing the duo play with Draco and the Malfoys in July 2006 convinced Andrew that he should proceed with his original plan of starting a wizard rock band.
The songs of Potter and the Lightning Bolts are written in the viewpoint of Harry, inspired by events and places in the real world that are seen often in the books. In all, Andrew tries to show through his music that reading is the true magic of the Harry Potter books.
