Dealing with seclusion once a month can be awfully lonely for a werewolf who enjoys rocking out. So, after realizing he wanted more in his life than knitting afghans for the Longbottoms, making chocolate hazelnut biscotti for Sirius Black in Azkaban and making scrapbooks for Alex Carpenter, Remus decided to write songs and start his own Wizard Rock band- Remus and the Lupins.

The music of Remus and the Lupins take on a variety of topics, ranging from a jingle recruiting new members for the Order of the Phoenix, to Lupin and Harry practicing the Expectro Patronum spell.

Remus and the Lupins were also featured as part of the 2007 Wizard Rock EP of the Month Club in April 2007 with Born to Howl.
