Romilda Vane and the Chocolate Cauldrons was created by Amy after being inspired by the many brave fans of the Harry Potter books and wizard rock who had written songs and put themselves in the public¹s eye, such as Hollow Godric, Ginny and the Heartbreakers, and Roonil Wazlib. One of the first Irish Wizard Rock bands, Gryffinclaw Amy felt the band was a wonderful way to promote literacy because it was different. As she explains, “Where I’m from people are less likely to so something like that because it’s so different.”
Drawing from the atmosphere created in Rowling’s books, Romilda Vane and the Chocolate Cauldrons’ music is mysterious and haunting.
Amy is also part of the duo known as “Jammy” with her friend Jamie, producing the Wizard Rock podcast WZRD.
