The Parselmouths
In 2004, after realizing the poor representation the Slytherin house in wizard rock, the Slytherin duo Brittany Vahlberg and Kristina Horner came together to form The Parselmouths, singing songs the way Slytherin girls should—with sssstyle. After meeting Paul and Joe of Harry and the Potters at one of their shows in Seattle, the rest was history.
The duos main goal with their band is to show what Slytherin girls are really like, since the house isn’t shown very often in the books or music, with their mix of experimental and alternative rock. Their first CD release, Sssss, will be the awaited event in the near future. With all the Parselmouths have going on, it is undoubtedly true, as their song says, “Being in Slytherin is not Half Bad.”
