Established in January 2006, gothic electronica band the Sectumsepras was the original Evil Witch Rock Band. Conveying an even darker side of the Harry Potter universe than the songs of Draco and the Malfoys, Lamia and Schizo’s enigmatic approach to their lyrics deliver the cutting edge of the wizard rock genre.

As well as their lyrics, the music, produced by a laptop computer allowing for more instruments that the duo could pal all at once, and their catchy, gothic tunes warrant multiple plays.

Their first CD, “The Unforgivable, But Delicious Curse,” will assuredly be one of the most anticipated wizard rock releases of 2007.
