In the winter of 2000 Switchblade Kittens posted “Ode to Harry Potter”, a song from Ginny’s perspective set between books 2 & 3 and is considered to be the first Wizard Rock song. The original version of the song was played with drums whereas the later version wich apears on their Wizard Rock album “The Weird Sisters” is played with all bases. The Switchblade Kittens are all base girl band with one token guy. The Switchblade Kittens are known for their bases. The song quickly had 3 million downloads and they ended up playing at many HP conventions.

But in the wizarding world they are known The Weird Sisters. The Weird Sisters humbly began when they all met at the Improper Use of Magic Office, while they were registering as animagi and instantly became inseparable. They began practicing at the Three Broomsticks, where they were playing for a few butterbeers. They got their big break when Albus Dumbledore (RIP) asked them to play at the Yule Ball and they have been huge ever since.
