After hearing about Wizard Rock on the fames podcast, Pottercast, and downloading a bunch of songs from her newly favorite wizard rock artists, Sigrid, a proud member of the House of Awesome, decided to start her own Wizard Rock band. Her only dilemma-being Norwegian, she only had one character to pull a name from-Norbert. Deciding against “The
Norwegian Ridgebacks,” she decided to make her name special, and called herself Lonesome Norberta.

Gradually inventing the character of Norberta, Sigrid writes songs from both her perspective, as well as from that of other characters. These songs are about everything from the weather to having her son’s egg taken from her by an evil wizard.
