What do you get when you combine bright pink hair, a Gryffindor on guitar, and downright awesomeness? The combination morphs into the creative power of Ravenclaw Ami from the Grey Ladies, Gryffindor Morgan, and Hufflepuff Danielle in the band MetamorphMagic. Being avid readers (especially of the Harry Potter series) as far back as they could remember, and having great rock bands at the heart of their friendship, the trio decided the natural progression from reading and writing Fan Fiction.

Taking inspiration from the later books in the series and concentrating mainly on Tonks’s perspective, MetamorphMagic writes their indie/rock songs with classical roots to show the same issues and emotions both the main characters in the books as well as most young people today go through. Through this connection, the band tries to pull the two worlds together.
