Although relatively new to the Wizard Rock scene, Oliver Boyd and the Rememberalls have become an unexpected success, taking even the band’s sole member by surprise. Being a fan of the Harry Potter book series and the assortment of weekly HP podcasts, full-time musician and Hufflepuff Christian Caldeira felt the desire to contribute to the fandom in his own way. In the fall of 2006, he combined his love of the books with his musical ability under the pseudonym Oliver Boyd—a name he felt fit in the wizarding world—and created Oliver Boyd and the Rememberalls.

Released in November 2006, his first CD, Welcome to Wizard Rock, explores the wizarding world from many viewpoints, as well as touches on different subject matters within the series. With such upbeat songs as “Welcome to the DA,” “Mischief Managed,” and “Hogsmeade Hop,” any Harry Potter and music fan alike will definitely enjoy this record.
