“Mister Potter. Our new….celebrity.” Considering Professor Snape’s pause when he said this in the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone movie, he knew that Harry Potter was not the only one to go by this title. Twins Katie and Kristen started their band, Out New Celebrity, because they both enjoyed listening to music, but had never tried starting their own band until hearing Harry and the Potters, when they decided wizard rock was their chance to do so. Ravenclaw Katie and Gryffindor Kristen (falling into similar houses as the Patil twins) write songs about whatever idea or aspect of the series catches their interest, such as their frustration over Rowling killing Sirus Black. With no background in music, Our New Celebrity takes their mutual love for Harry Potter, creating their own sound that would make even Professor Snape stop to rethink his thoughts.
