While never a widely recognized character in the books series, the Three Broomstick’s Rosmerta has gained much popularity in the muggle world, Some of this fandom may be attributed to the band of Ohioans Ammie and Rose— Rosmerta’s Rockers. Forming in May 2006, the duo from the house of Awesome chose their name because while Rosmerta was Ammie’s favorite character in the books and movies, they could see themselves rocking out at the Three Broomsticks.

Pulling random ideas, names or creatures from the books, their songs are always as unpredictable as which wizard rock song will play next on Ammie’s iPod. With each of these ideas, the music of Rosmerta’s Rockers ranges with everything from emo to Broadway to even metal. In 2007, the duo plans to change their styles, inviting friends to join the, rocking out.
