We’ve added profiles in the Bands section for Lord of the Strings and Ministry of Rock. Go visit them, they’re definitely worth a listen!
Hey, guys. I’m just posting here really quickly to tell you guys not to use tables in the news posts. I just noticed today that not only does it distort the layout of this entire website, but LiveJournal can’t read it correctly, and it stops our RSS feed at LiveJournal from working (meaning, all the people reading us via their friends lists are left out of the loop).
I have fixed the problem so far, so the layout is back to normal. The LiveJournal feed is scheduled to be updated at 2:28 AM (GMT), so the LiveJournal feed should theoretically be up and running once more in roughly the next forty minutes.

I’m working on a 2.0 design for the site, which means the layout (mostly the sidebar) is temporarily going to be funny-looking. Please bear with me over the next couple of days–the new design should be implemented fairly soon.
Thanks!

Hello, wizards and witches!
My name is Rocky, also known as “Rocky the Wizard Rock Ridgeback”, and I am proud to announce my brand new position as WizardRock.Org’s official spokesdragon.
As spokesdragon for this wonderful website, it is my mission to branch out across the World Wide Web, spread the news about the wizard rock genre, share my opinions about the wizard rock subculture, connect with the fans and the bands, and represent WizardRock.Org.
I have registered accounts at both, LiveJournal and MySpace, and I love making new friends, so why not head on over, and add me?
Also!– In celebration of my joining forces with the website, WizardRock.Org has just released seven horcr–er–items available for you to purchase at CafePress.
Rock n’ ROAR!
Your friendly neighborhood ridgeback,
Rocky
For a few minutes between 2:20 and 2:30 GMT-5, the site will look funny because I’m upgrading the Wordpress system to the latest edition for the security fixes. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Thanks!
System is now upgraded and in full working condition. The band links have been updated, too (finally!) so expect to see some fresh, new random bands in the sidebar.
This post is just to briefly announce that the WIZARDROCK.ORG LiveJournal feed has not been updating this week. The last post took place on Saturday, the 14th.
The error message (as listed on the feed’s profile) is as follows:
Last checked: 2006-10-20 06:41:03 (Parse error)
Error Message: RSS parser error: junk after document element at line 191, column 0, byte 13557
Next check: 2006-10-20 09:42:03
Until the error is caught and fixed, visitors won’t be able to check up on wizard rock news through their friends pages.
New band profiles for The Parselmouths, Philosopherock and Snidget. Check them out here.
Guess what? WIZARDROCK.ORG is being taken over by the noble (OMG even I can’t keep my face straight!) House of Slytherin…
Just kidding. Actually, I’m just here to announce that Nefret has given me awesome news-posting powers, so you poor fools who thought you only had to deal with my aweseomely crazy antics in the forums are kind of out of luck.
Pretty rad, huh?
♥, Ashe
